Marrakech to Fes via the Sahara (4 Days)
Day 1 – Marrakech → Ait Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate → Dades Valley
Depart from Marrakech and cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous kasbahs and filming locations for movies such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert”, with the option to visit the famous Atlas Film Studios. Travel along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through Skoura and the Rose Valley before arriving in the beautiful Dades Valley.
Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional guesthouse or kasbah.
Day 2 – Dades Valley → Todra Gorge → Merzouga Sahara Desert
After breakfast, continue towards the impressive Todra Gorge, one of the most spectacular canyons in southern Morocco. Enjoy time to walk through the gorge and admire its towering cliffs.
Continue through traditional Berber villages and the oasis landscapes of southern Morocco before arriving in Merzouga, on the edge of the Sahara Desert.
In the late afternoon, embark on a camel trek across the dunes to your desert camp. Enjoy a magical evening under the stars with a traditional Moroccan dinner, Berber music around the campfire and an unforgettable night in a luxury or standard desert camp.
Day 3 – Explore the Sahara Desert
After breakfast, discover the Sahara by 4×4. Visit fossil sites, the village of Hassi Labied and the famous village of Khamlia, known for its unique Gnawa music and cultural heritage.
Explore black volcanic desert landscapes and experience authentic local traditions. In the afternoon, relax or enjoy optional activities such as sandboarding.
Spend a second unforgettable night in the desert camp surrounded by the silence of the Sahara.
Day 4 – Merzouga → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Ifrane → Fes
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes before departing towards Fes.
Travel through Rissani, once an important caravan trading centre, and continue through the spectacular Ziz Valley with its palm groves and dramatic landscapes.
Pass through Midelt in the Middle Atlas Mountains before continuing to Azrou, famous for its cedar forests and Barbary macaques. Stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its alpine architecture and clean streets.
Arrival in Fes in the late afternoon.

Imperial Cities & Chefchaouen (6 Days)
Day 1 – Arrival in Rabat
Arrival in Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital. Discover the Hassan Tower, the Kasbah of the Udayas and the historic medina before enjoying your first evening in Morocco.
Day 2 – Rabat → Meknes → Volubilis → Chefchaouen
Travel to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities. Explore the city’s historic monuments before continuing to the Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, continue to Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City nestled in the Rif Mountains.
Day 3 – Discover Chefchaouen
Enjoy a full day exploring Chefchaouen at your own pace. Wander through its picturesque blue streets, discover local artisan shops and admire panoramic views over the mountains.
Day 4 – Chefchaouen → Fes
Travel to Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and begin exploring the fascinating medina, one of the oldest and largest in the Arab world.
Day 5 – Guided Tour of Fes
Discover the highlights of Fes, including Bab Boujloud, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the famous Chouara Tanneries, traditional souks and the historic Al Quaraouiyine area.
Day 6 – Departure or Tour Extension

Day 9 – Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Travel along the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, visit the Rose Valley and continue to Ouarzazate. Discover the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas Mountains towards Marrakech.
Day 10 – Guided Tour of Marrakech
Discover Marrakech with a local guide. Explore the historic medina, Bahia Palace, Ben Youssef Madrasa, colourful souks, Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Jemaa el-Fna square.
Day 11 – Marrakech → Essaouira
Travel to the Atlantic coast and discover Essaouira, a charming seaside town known for its historic medina, fishing harbour, artisan workshops and relaxed atmosphere.
Day 12 – Essaouira → Casablanca / Departure
Travel along the Atlantic coast towards Casablanca. Depending on your flight schedule, visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque before your transfer to the airport.
